Attorney (PLL)
Ms. Aranda earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Peace & Conflict Studies from the University of California, Berkeley in 2017, before going on to earn her Juris Doctorate from the University of California Law San Francisco (formerly UC Hastings College of the Law) in 2020. She was a leader in the Hastings Student Immigrant Rights (HSIR) organization and the La Raza Law Students Association. She was recognized with the CALI Excellence for the Future Award for her fieldwork in immigrants’ rights, the Public Interest Achievement Award, and the Wiley W. Manuel Award for Pro Bono Legal Services. She is currently licensed to practice under California’s Provisional Licensed Lawyer Program.
Ms. Aranda built a strong foundation in litigation and motion practice through her work at the Marin County Public Defender’s Office, immigration firm, a plaintiff-side class action litigation firm in San Francisco, the Alameda County Public Defender’s Office, and Neighborhood Legal Services of Los Angeles County. Though her experience spans public defense, immigration, and civil litigation, Ms. Aranda is committed to one constant: standing up for people who need an advocate in their corner.
